| Since
1990, Tim has been an active member of Legatus, an organization
for Catholic CEO's and their spouses. In Legatus, Tim
served as general counsel and director on the International
Board of Directors. In 1994, this international organization
named him Ambassador of the Year and in 2005 Founder,
one of four in the organization of over 2000 CEOs. He
served as West Coast Regional Director from 1996 to 1999
and was instrumental in starting chapters in Palm Springs,
San Diego, Las Vegas, Pasadena, Orange County and West
Los Angeles. Tim is a
member of the Knights of the Equestrian Order of the
Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
Tim is a co-founder of the Magis
Institute. Magis sponsors spiritual ministries including
retreats, ethics training, wealth stewardship. It is
headed by Fr. Robert Spitzer S.J., President of Gonzaga
University.
In 1992, Tim co-founded and has
continuously served as Chairman and CEO of St. Anne
School in Laguna Niguel. St. Anne has grown from its
humble beginnings with 140 students to over 850 students
today. Their son, Garrett, graduated from St. Anne in
2001 and their daughter, Mackenzie graduated in 2004.
To continue the tradition, Tim
and Steph co-founded JSerra Catholic High School in
San Juan Capistrano. JSerra opened in September 2003
with 160 students, enjoys an enrollment of 775 today
and will educate 1600 students when fully developed.
Tim, age 51, was born in Michigan
and relocated to sunny California in 1982 upon meeting
his wife, Steph, with whom he has been married for 20
years. They have two children, Garrett, age 19, and
Mackenzie, age 17.
In 1998, Tim was the founding
chairman of Boy Scout Troop #872, sponsored by St. Timothy
Catholic Church. Garrett, along with seven other boys,
achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Tim serves on Boards for The Catholic
University of America Board founded in 1854, Patrons
of the Vatican Arts, John Paul II Cultural Center in
Washington DC, and the Cathedral for the Archdiocese
of Los Angeles.
Tim is a practicing attorney in
Orange County for the past 28 years as founder of the
Busch Firm.
Tim enjoys traveling, golf in Indian Wells, and wine.
His passion of wine lead him to found Trinitas Cellars,
LLC with partner and winemaker Matt Cline in Sonoma
California in 2000. They specialize in Red Zinfandel,
Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Petite Sirah.
The Busches primarily reside in
Nellie Gail Ranch, Laguna Hills, for 20 years, and enjoy
a second residence at the Reserve Country Club in Indian
Wells, California.
Tim Busch has holdings in real
estate, public and private operating companies. His
original business is a 12-store specialty grocery chain
still operated headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
More recently Tim has focused on Pacific Hospitality
Group, which owns five hotels, including the Doubletree
Hotel at Irvine Spectrum, the Doubletree Hotel Santa
Ana/Orange County Airport) the Crowne Plaza Resort near
Disneyland, The Havasu Inn and the Meritage Resort at
Napa.
